Kehadiran Ahmad Danial

Kelmarin adik perempuan hantar pesanan, "angah, online oovoo, mak rindu."

True Muslim is Straightforward

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The other day, I told something in twitter which I didn’t intend to do in the first place. But something happened and I think I should clear things up for everyone. Honestly, to talk about something personal like relationship status openly is not my style. That is why I only shared about it with my twitter friends, 55 of them not hundreds or thousands.

I don’t like to gossip about others and others to gossip about me. Whenever people talk about other’s personal life, I prefer not to be an “investigating officer”. Dengar sekadar dengar, masuk telinga kanan keluar telinga kiri. Kalau tuan empunya badan nak bercerita dia akan cerita, kita tiada hak untuk campur tangan masalah peribadi orang. That is my principle. If people want to say I’m anti-social because of that, you can say what you want. *smile*

“…. Nor speak ill of each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, you would abhor it. But fear Allah: for Allah is Oft-Returning. Most Merciful.” (Quran 49:12)

Movie Pick of The Month (17)

Khairul rating: 4/5 .I just watched this film today. The focus of this movie was on Ruben 'Hurricane' Carter's case, which put him for life imprisonment for a crime that he didn't commit. In the movie, Ruben was 50 years old man and he had served time behind the bars for 20 years. He personally asked his wife Mae to divorce him, because he can't bear the pain of wanting to be with his beautiful wife and daughter.

"I do that by not allowing myself to want or to need anything... I'm free in here because there's nothing I want out there." -The Hurricane 1999-

Being Nice and Being Close

Being nice and being close to someone, is there any difference between these two? Bunyi macam sama je kan. It is easier for a person to be nice to everybody, but not everybody can be close to a person.  That is why we have to know the difference between being nice and being close. This is important for doctors especially because professionalism comes first before any emotional feeling, but that doesn’t mean we can treat our patients like a mannequins.

Being nice is superficial, there is no emotional attachment involves. Everybody can be nice to other person, for example holding the door open for a person behind you, give up your seat to a pregnant woman, a warm smile to your customers, treat people for lunch or dinner, helping a friend, greet your friends and ask them “dah makan ke?” “buat apa semalam?” “banyak nyamukkan sekarang?”, etc.

Being close to someone involves emotional attachment, kalau tak banyak pun, sikit tetap ada. Being close is a step further than being nice. You genuinely are interested to know about that person, about his/her problem. When she cries, you will cry, when she’s happy, you‘re going to feel happy for her too.

Change, Why Wait?

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, Most Merciful
We heard about it so many times, we watched it in many Malay dramas and it comes to me to ask this question “Why do we have to wait until the person who gives us advice is gone, only then we’ll change for good? Why?” Yes people this is the ugly truth about us.

Only after the parents had passed away the son will say, back then his parents had told him to do this and that. Alhamdulillah the son finally realized what his parents tried to teach him, BUT at that time the parents are not around anymore to witness his change, to be proud and happy for him.
