War Horse is a 2011 epic war
film directed by Steven Spielberg. It is an adaptation of the 1982 children's
novel of the same name, by British author Michael Morpurgo. The film was
nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Picture, two Golden Globe
Awards and five BAFTAs.
Review:
War Horse is a
great movie. Basically the main character of this film is the horse named Joey,
by which you’ll be experiencing the adventure of Joey during the First World
War. Nonetheless Steven Spielberg managed to portray all the good values in the
movie admirably. Don’t hold your manly tears guys. *smile* However there’s a
few scenes which I think a bit prejudice towards the Germans. They’re like
whatever good things the Germans do, in the end fate will not favor them. Overall
I give this movie 3.7/5 for the great storyline, the good values, and of course
the horse.
