Have this situation ever happen to you when you were suggesting an idea and suddenly someone just snap it out? I believe there are few things that we have to let the young adults to experience by themselves although we have walkthrough the same path before, and there are certain things that we should without doubt not let them even to try it. Over protective and don’t-care-at-all either way you’ll spoil the kids.
Remember when we were small, our parents used to say this to us, “panjatlah, panjat. Nanti jatuh jangan salahkan siapa-siapa.” If you are the good girl/boy type you probably will not climb up those tree or ladder, but if you are the adventurous type you will ignore the warning. At the moment you fall off from the tree you know they were right, you have experience failure and from there you come up with a new strategy.
If you have more experience and you want to give advice it’s okay, you have done your part. Now it’s up to the individual either to follow it or not. Tak payah la kita nak rasa kecik hati atau apa-apa. Either he agrees with you or still want to go with the plan will do no harm to you and to his self. Even more he becomes more creative and mature. Yes. The idea is to teach us young adults to be responsible with our decision. Even if we do make mistake please don’t condemned us because we are learning new things here. If we manage to do the right things please be happy for us.
Certain things might not work during our time, but who knows it might work in the future. So please, I’m begging you guys. Let us learn to be adults, learn to take responsibilities.
